Cartography of the Improbable
Between light and disappearance, the image turns inward.
The arboreal mass ceases to be visible matter and becomes a trace, revealing itself as a luminous negative suspended over a purple background that evokes the density of twilight. The trees, reduced to white silhouettes, resemble maps of an intangible geography—remnants of a forest that exists between memory and intuition.
A gaze toward territories where the real overlaps with the imagined, where roots seem to sink into an invisible time. The cartography traced by their branches does not mark out places but possibilities: an improbable forest glimpsed at the precise threshold between fading light and expanding shadow.
As in the rest of ARTborizations, the piece explores the tension between the natural and the latent, between what is revealed and what remains in reserve, inviting the viewer to cross the inner frontier of the landscape.
