Txema Muñoz is a Spanish visual artist based in Brussels since 1996. Trained in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, he works across painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and installation. His practice explores transformation as a material process, shaped by the tension between intention, chance and the behaviour of materials. Through combustion, layering and traces of alteration, his works examine relationships between body and landscape, the organic and the artificial, memory and time.
